The EDS1 utilises steel reinforced polyethylene tubes combined with powder coated & galvanised steel platforms. This allows the EDS to be strong and rigid while minimising it's weight and providing a safe and durable external surface.
The EDS1 doesn't just give you any old chair either, this is a quality synthetic leather automotive race seat! Equipped with all the lateral support bulstering you would expect from a race seat including harness holes to complete the look. This seat offers sliding position adjustment and seat back angle andjustment. The EDS1 is one of very few units to provide a shifter mount, and it's on the correct side! The design is finished off with a set of roller wheels behind the seat allowing the EDS1 to be easily shifted.

The EDS1 is specifically setup for the Logitech G25 (not supplied with the EDS1), with pre drilled hard mounting locations & bolts supplied for the steering wheel, pedal box & shift lever. This ensures a positive and stable location for all because there is nothing worse than your pedals or wheel slipping away from you half way through a corner or shifting gears quickly and the whole unit shifting instead! Further positional adjustment of the steering wheel and pedals is achieved through the slotted mounting positions allowing even further total adjustment. The EDS1 is not restricted to the G25 and can accommodate nearly every driving wheel setup on the market, though new mount holes or the standard clamps will be needed.
In it's collapsed position the EDS1 can fit into a single cupboard, or be positioned easily at the side of a double cupboard. Additionaly the simple construction of your EDS1 means that by un-doing a few bolts you can easily dissassemble your EDS1 & pack it away when the race seasons over.
The EDS1 is fitted with small rubber feet allowing it's safe use on hardwood floors. These feet are also small enough to give excellent location on carpet. Rubber caps are also fitted to all the exposed nuts on the EDS1 ensuring user's safety!

The EDS1 recognises that the majority of people are not going to want a racing simulator permanently setup in their lounge room.
For this reason the weight of the EDS1 was minimised and roller wheels were added.
Quickly slide the seat to it's forward most position and tilt the back of the seat forward, and by simply lifting the front of your EDS1 you can easily move it to any location you desire.

-When packaged for shipping the EDS1 box dimensions are 1000x570x330mm:
-When assembled the EDS1 without G25 is 1070mm Long, 630mm wide and is 960mm from floor to the top of the seat (in it’s most upright position) and weighs aproximately 20kg.
-The EDS1 was ultimately designed for adult users and can accomodate operators of approximately 140-200cm in height.
-Adjustment of the seat allows for a total shift of 190mm. Steering wheel & pedals can each be adjusted 70mm each via plate slotting.
-Modifications to the EDS1 to suit other sized users is not recommended and failure of any modified product will not be recognised.

-This item comes disassembled and requires assembly. Detailed instructions are provided to guide you through the assembly process. See here for the Instructions. All bolts, nuts & washers are provided for the assembly of this product and for the assembly of your Logitech G25 controller to it. Tools required for assembly are not provided.
